Although Q Switched ND YAG Laser was originally used to remove tattoos, newer clinical studies have shown impressive changes in acne scars, texture changes, skin discoloration and aging. Impressively, the revival technology requires only a few hours of pink to achieve the shortest downtime.

Who is Picolaser?

Picolaser is available for all skin types, and darker skin types require finer laser energy delivery.

How does Picolaser feel?
Picolaser is treated very quickly, but it can cause some minor discomfort. Some treatments do not require anesthesia, but some may require anesthesia at the doctor's office. The discomfort of Picolaser treatment is often compared to skin occlusion but can be tolerated by appropriate pain control.

Immediately after treatment, the surface area may feel like a slight sunburn, but it is painless unless it is wiped.

Will Picolaser have side effects immediately after treatment?

When using Picolaser for rejuvenation, acne scars and discoloration, it is common for the skin to appear pink within a few hours of treatment. It is important to apply sunscreen to the affected area within a few days after treatment.

When using Picolaser to remove a tattoo, your tattoo usually turns white briefly and then swells or turns red, but this only lasts for a few hours until the day after treatment. In some cases, there may be mild blisters on the treatment site for a few days. After Picolaser treatment, it is important to keep your tattoo or treatment area covered with ointment and bandage on the first day and avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds one week after treatment to prevent pigmentation (blackening).

What is the expected result of Picolaser?

Picolaser reduces or often completely eliminates the appearance of unwanted tattoos and pigmented skin lesions; other treatment strategies can reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks, fine lines, wrinkles, pores and uneven skin tone, making skin tone younger and more even.

For Picolaser, the results are usually visible immediately after treatment, but since it can treat a range of conditions, the degree of improvement and healing time will vary depending on the surface area being treated.

The Picolaser treatment course depends on what is being treated. However, treatment every 3 to 6 weeks is typical.

What is the cost of Picolaser treatment?
